How to Create and Manage Your Online Shopping List

If you are like me, you probably have a lot of items that you want to buy online, but you don’t have the time or money to get them all at once. That’s where a wishlist comes in handy. A wishlist is a list of products that you save for later, so you can keep track of what you want and buy them when you are ready.

In this blog post, I will show you how to create and manage your online shopping list using Wishlist, a free and easy-to-use app that works with any website. With Wishlist, you can:

  • Add items from any website with one click
  • Organize your items into categories and subcategories
  • Set price alerts and get notified when items go on sale
  • Share your wishlist with friends and family
  • Discover new products and deals based on your preferences

Ready to get started? Here’s how to use Wishlist in four simple steps:

Step 1: Install the Wishlist browser extension

The first thing you need to do is install the Wishlist browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. This will allow you to add items from any website with one click. You can download the extension from the Wishlist website or from your browser’s web store.

Once you install the extension, you will see a blue heart icon on your browser toolbar. This is your Wishlist button. Whenever you see something you like online, just click on the button and it will be added to your wishlist.

Step 2: Create your account and customize your settings

After installing the extension, you will need to create your account and customize your settings. You can sign up with your email address or with your Facebook or Google account. You will also need to choose a username and a password.

Once you log in, you can access your settings by clicking on the gear icon on the top right corner of the Wishlist app. Here, you can:

  • Change your profile picture and bio
  • Choose your currency and language
  • Enable or disable notifications
  • Connect your social media accounts
  • Manage your privacy and security

Step 3: Organize your items into categories and subcategories

Now that you have added some items to your wishlist, you can organize them into categories and subcategories. This will help you find what you want faster and keep track of your shopping goals.

To create a category, click on the plus icon on the left sidebar of the Wishlist app. You can name your category anything you want, such as “Books”, “Clothes”, “Electronics”, etc. You can also choose an icon and a color for your category.

To create a subcategory, click on the arrow next to the category name and then click on the plus icon. You can name your subcategory anything you want, such as “Fiction”, “Non-fiction”, “Romance”, etc.

To move an item from one category or subcategory to another, just drag and drop it with your mouse. You can also edit or delete an item by clicking on the three dots icon on the bottom right corner of the item.

Step 4: Set price alerts and get notified when items go on sale

One of the best features of Wishlist is that it lets you set price alerts and get notified when items go on sale. This way, you can save money and buy what you want at the best price.

To set a price alert, click on the bell icon on the bottom left corner of the item. You can choose to be notified when the item drops below a certain price or percentage. You can also choose how often you want to receive notifications: daily, weekly, or monthly.

When an item goes on sale, you will receive an email or a push notification from Wishlist. You can also see all the items that are on sale by clicking on the “Deals” tab on the left sidebar of the Wishlist app.

That’s it! You have successfully created and managed your online shopping list using Wishlist. Now you can enjoy browsing and buying online without losing track of what you want.
