Salajeet (also known as shilajit) is a mineral pitch found in Central Asian highlands. It is predominantly extracted in Pakistan from the Gilgit-Baltistan mountains. Salajeet has been utilised for generations in traditional Indian and Pakistani medicine to treat a number of health issues.
